Fossil hunters take note! During this summer treasure hunt, you will step into the shoes of a paleontologist. Go on a discovery tour through the museum and discover everything about fossils, prehistoric giants and Ice Age survivors who lived here thousands of years ago.
Did you know that super cool fossils have been found near Rotterdam? Especially on the Maasvlakte, where sand has been dredged from the North Sea, real treasures sometimes appear. Think of enormous molars of mammoths, bones of sabre-toothed cats, and even fossilized poop of hyenas that used to roam here. Skulls of primeval whales have also been fished up from the Western Scheldt.
Go back in time and discover which animals and plants lived here with real fossil finds.
