Workshop Hoofdtooi maken
The Children's Carnival is back with creative workshops and a colorful Children's Parade. Children can make their own headdress and participate in a festive closing.
The workshop is an introduction to the Summer Carnival, in which the love for making carnival costumes is central.
Children are encouraged to express their creativity by making a simple and colorful headdress. During this creative workshop they will craft their own unique headdress and discover the world behind carnival in a playful way.
Using stories, images and examples of traditional costumes, they learn where carnival comes from, how it ended up in Rotterdam and why the festival is about diversity and celebrating together.
