What can future generations learn from the objects we leave behind today? In this imaginative workshop, you will delve into the world of fossils together with artists Aart Kuipers and Walter van der Velden – not from the past, but from the future. Just as researchers today extract valuable information from old remains, you will ask yourself the question: what remains of our era? And what would people or creatures in the distant future recognize in it? With clay, plaster and other materials, you will shape your own 'future fossil' and give free rein to your imagination. A creative afternoon full of speculation, art and archaeology with a twist. Suitable for curious minds of all ages. Make, discover and leave something behind that may be found again in 100,000 years.
