Verweven Leven - Workshop serie manden vlechten in het voedselbos
In the food forest we weave a basket per season: literally, to be able to harvest and process what grows – and figuratively, as a symbol of the connection between people, seasons and ecosystems.
A food forest is not just about plants, it is also about weaving relationships. Interwoven Life is an invitation to move with the rhythms of the season.
In Trompenburg Gardens & Arboretum you will discover together with the managers of food forest 'De Overtuin' how you can live in connection with the landscape, the seasons, the plants and their flavors. By observing, harvesting and processing together, you will learn from the (food) forest and from each other.
What are we going to do?
- An introduction to the food forest,
- Gaining knowledge about what is growing and blooming at that moment,
- Gain experience in harvesting and processing
- Making a suitable braid.
- In short: you go home with a unique, personal basket and your own harvest to enjoy at home.
