The Show Goes On is a playful quest for what it means to truly meet each other. A scene begins, stops, and begins again. With fresh humor and recognizable situations, STEL investigates the everyday idea of encounter. When does 'encountering each other' really become 'meeting'?

On the night train, two backpackers on a tour of Europe. Two strangers in the library, at the detective department. A job interview in which words stumble over nerves and doubt. Every scene is a new chance to break expectations, to stretch clichés, to really see each other.

Romy and Thomas won the Welkplaats Walhalla Pitch in 2022, after which they created their performance Life Actually in the workshop. Now they take you along in a playful choreography of beginnings and restarts. Is it possible to see the other without a past, without assumptions and previous impressions? Every disruption is a new beginning, every interruption an invitation to do it differently. Even if you already know someone, you can always try to see someone for the first time. Come see. Come meet.
