Once a year Sococo organizes an open cupping. That is during Kroonfest. Discover the world of fair trade coffee and the special flavors of SOCOCO specialty coffee compared to dark roasted commercial coffees.

During a coffee cupping session we taste different types of coffee beans from Guatemala and Uganda (86+ coffee). In addition, we tell our transparent story. From coffee plant to beyond the coffee cup.

What is coffee cupping?

Coffee cupping is a special method for tasting and judging the taste of coffee. You judge the coffee on smell, aroma, taste, mouthfeel and aftertaste. You do this by slurping with a spoon. It is the way of tasting coffee and it is done the same way all over the world.
