Sammie is nine years old and one meter thirty-four tall. He lives with his mother, but does not know his father. His mother does not want to tell anything about it. Because his mother has a busy job, Sammie lives with his grandfather four days a week. Sammie experiences the most exciting adventures with his grandfather. They listen to stories, build a plane together and dream of a journey to find Sammie's father. But then grandfather gets sick. Sammie is inconsolable. Will they still be able to fly? And will Sammie ever discover who his father is?
