Said was born in Morocco and raised in Veenendaal. Not one, but three cultures rich. To the 'ordinary' Dutchman Said is a Moroccan. To the Moroccan in Morocco he is a Dutchman and in the Bible Belt he is mainly a Muslim. Try to feel at home somewhere. Every time he thinks he is doing well, another setback occurs. Prejudices, cultural differences, racism, you name it. How do you deal with that? Said shows how to turn something negative into something positive. Life is not linear, but if you embrace the twists and turns you can laugh everything away.
