Prikkelarme openstelling
The Natural History Museum organizes low-stimulus openings for people who are sensitive to crowds. A peaceful opportunity to visit the museum.
The Natural History Museum offers low-stimulus openings for visitors who experience sensory overload during regular opening hours. These openings are ideal for people with, for example, acquired brain injury, burnout, autism, or hypersensitivity, without a diagnosis being required.
During these times, there are fewer visitors, the light is taken into account, a quiet room is available and videos are played without sound.
Visitors can use a quiet area and will be greeted by trained staff. The lighting is dimmed in various places throughout the museum, and stools are available for use. Visitors can explore the museum independently or participate in a guided tour. Preparatory documents and a visitor information map are available to help you prepare for your visit.
