Op Drift - Alex Roeka

'The highway is my home' – in America they sing it, Alex Roeka lives it. In his new show Op Drift he takes you into the life of an artist. You don't really have a home. And when you arrive - usually in the middle of the night - it feels like an empty, strange place. Over the years you become at home in cars, theaters, cafes and gas stations.

Previously, Alex Roeka enchanted the Walhalla audience with performances such as Voort!, Rauwe Genade, Nieuwe Dromen and Nachtcafé. Now he is back with a musical travelogue about life without solid ground. It may be a detached lifestyle, but if you can handle it, the movement, change and adventure are surprisingly pleasant.
