a theatrical pop concert about a young star balancing between self-love and the pressure of fame. While she stands for strength and self-expression, she asks herself: do I choose myself, or does the outside world choose for me?
Being 100% okay with yourself and looking hot as f*ck. Pop star Destiny stands for 'being at home in your own skin'. This is ownership and girl power. Right? Destiny meets the ideal image of a star; the smaller the hot pants, the more ecstatic the fans. Her fame gives wings, but also paralyzes. Because how quirky can she actually be? Does she choose herself, or do the expectations and the likes determine who she can be and what she should look like? She increasingly feels like a living prop on which everyone can let their fantasies run wild. We do what we have to do... For fame. Beyoncé does it... Is Destiny pressing 'reset'?
