Lezing Rosita Steenbeek

Rosita Steenbeek will give a lecture about her book Over particulier wegen - een pilgrimage . She will answer questions from the audience and sign books.

After the loss of her mother, Rosita Steenbeek, with photographer Art Khachatrian, makes a sensational cycling trip from Rome to Mycenae. They cycle through the whole of Italy on the Via Appia, after which they cross over to Greece. A challenging physical adventure with heavy mountain climbs, dizzying descents, sometimes at night, mixes with an emotional and spiritual journey. The encounters with mythical places and characters give a sense of connection. Ancient history is still close, just like her mother.
