Lezing Pieter Waterdrinker

Pieter Waterdrinker talks about his new novel Céline. He will answer audience questions and sign books after his lecture.

In this lecture, Pieter Waterdrinker takes you into the world of Céline , his latest novel about the young Tolja, a man adrift after the war in Ukraine. From a Parisian hotel room, Tolja looks back on his past, his choices, and the question of whether he is guilty of war crimes. Waterdrinker interweaves personal history with current themes such as conflict, guilt, and moral confusion. After the lecture, there will be room for questions from the audience and the author will sign his book. A chance to talk to one of the sharpest literary voices of our time.
