Lev Avitan and Nabil Tkhidousset are writers, storytellers, spoken word artists and above all: friends. They find each other in their similar youth, growing up with an absent father in a deprived neighborhood. Together they make the podcast Echtemannentakkies, in which they discuss themes that are often experienced as taboo among (bi-cultural) young men.
In 7sheb 3lik: reken op jou they present their candid conversations as a performance. This story starts with 3000 calories of fried chicken before they leave for Lev's father's funeral. For both friends, the relationship with their father has always been an issue. But how do you deal with it when he is really no longer there?
