Hidden Currents - Art Exhibition & Live music
On May 9, Hidden Currents will transform a location in Rotterdam-Noord into a temporary art gallery full of young makers, raw energy and sensory experiences.
Discover work by emerging artists, immerse yourself in live sets and performances, and stick around for the afterparty. Hidden Currents is a curated art and music fair, curated by WdKA students, with a focus on encounters, undercurrents and new sounds. Admission is free, but RSVP is required via the ticket link – full is full.
Hidden Currents is a temporary platform for young makers, curated by a group of students from the Willem de Kooning Academy. On May 9, the Hofbogen area will be filled with visual art, sensory installations, live music and performances. Expect a raw but carefully composed mix of disciplines: from audiovisual installations to soulful live acts and club-worthy aftersounds.
During the day, Hidden Currents offers an artistic experience with work by visual artists and designers in a modular space. In the evening, the energy shifts to the music: live performances and an intimate afterparty with DJs and producers from the local underground.
Hidden Currents aims to give young makers a stage and at the same time immerse the audience in a stream of creativity. With this one-day event we build a temporary place where disciplines merge, structures blur and encounters are central.
Admission is free. Seats are limited, RSVP is required via the ticket link – early arrival is smart.
