Apache girl chooses between roots and new world.
America 1880. The original inhabitants are being oppressed. The indigenous peoples are being overrun by European colonists. The last group of free Apache Indians of the infamous leader Geronimo are being hunted. The Indian girl Lozen meets the colonist girl Margareth. They have a special connection. When Lozen is “rescued” by a white colonel and taken to a boarding school, the girls grow up together as best friends! Lozen learns to be a good American woman. But there is also a special medicine woman hidden in her. And her family turns out to be still alive, locked up on a reservation. Must Lozen adapt to the new rulers of the country or is her Apache blood too strong?
