A musical performance with puppets and masks, about an old man and a mysterious child. A story about friendship, wonder and the feeling of being needed.
The old man is done. He doesn't necessarily think so, but the world around him tells him to make room. For children yet to be born. So he sits and waits.
Until one day he hears a strange sound at the front door. There lies a baby. No parents in sight, no stroller, not even a stork. The old man looks again… and the baby is suddenly a toddler. What is going on here?
Gammel is a musical, visual performance with puppets and masks, about the unexpected beginning of a special friendship. About being needed, letting go, making space and growing together. A poetic story for young and old, that touches with few words, but a lot of expressiveness.
For children aged 4 and up and anyone who wants to pause life for a moment.
