On the second floor, Kunstinstituut Melly presents the first solo exhibition in the Netherlands by donna Kukama: I Breathe, You Breathe, bringing together more than a decade of her radical artistic practice. The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of her work, including a newly commissioned mural and live performances. In her practice, history is approached as a living, breathing body, explored in all its complexity and brought to life through multiple narratives.
