In this enchanting object theatre piece you descend to the deepest of the ocean. It is dark there, but full of life. With live music, luminous creatures and wonderful questions about freedom, existence and encounter.
What happens deep under water, far from land and people? In DEEP you travel to the bottom of the sea. There live animals that we have never seen before. Do they find us as strange as we find them?
This performance is full of luminous creatures, live music and imaginative images. You will hear unknown underwater sounds and the pure voice of singer Dirge Seçil Kuran. In the dark, questions arise that you may never have asked: who does the sea belong to? Are you free if no one sees you? And do you exist if you are never discovered?
DIEP is musical object theatre for everyone aged 9 and up. An adventurous dive into the unknown, which makes you think and wonder. Not superficial, but very deep.
