Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam (WFFR) annually shows the most beautiful and impactful films about nature from home and abroad. With the special program WFFR Lokaal, a selection of films is shown at 21 special locations, spread throughout Rotterdam. In addition, extra activities are organized around the film at many of our local locations. In this way, we bring nature closer to everyone!

We are on our way to a new geological era. This requires the inhabitants of the delta to move along with the natural dynamics that characterize this region. But where are we actually going?
In The Mouth of Tomorrow, Dutch filmmaker Rik van der Linden tries to break away from the madness of the day. He sets off on an expedition into the future, in which he learns to see the estuaries as rare areas with a unique ecological value — places where life can flourish and man has found his place in time.
