CineMusic Films Live in Concert

The CineMusic orchestra takes you with a sensational mix of classics and new blockbusters in the theater. And that means the most beautiful film music, the best film scenes and the most beautiful stories about the films, the composers and the directors.

This season, the concert show has a completely new repertoire. Dream away with the enchanting melodies of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone and many others. Which films will be played remains a surprise, but it will be a sensational mix of classics and new blockbusters, action and romance, fantasy and true stories.

While the film orchestra plays, shortened versions of the films are shown on the big cinema-quality white screen. The film scenes are so precisely synchronized with the music that you are completely drawn into the story. In this way, you experience 20 films in one evening.

In the theatre, the orchestra plays The Special: an extra extended version with 43 musicians and a large choir. The orchestra is led by conductor Henk Ummels.

A regular face on stage is René Mioch. This experienced film journalist presents the evening and tells stories about the film, the composers and the directors between the music pieces. With his rich experience he gives you a unique look behind the scenes of these film classics.

Expect an evening full of goose bumps, suspense, laughter and undoubtedly a lump in the throat. This is film music like you've never experienced it before.
