Chinees Nieuwjaar in Wereldmuseum Rotterdam

The Chinese New Year, which begins on February 17, 2026, and heralds the Year of the Horse, will be celebrated with special activities organized by the Wereldmuseum Rotterdam and its partners.

On February 21 and 22, the museum will be entirely dedicated to the Chinese New Year.

In addition, the museum is present on a tram during a street celebration on the Westkruiskade, and it participates in children's activities on the Deliplein in Katendrecht.
