Als Atlantis ons land is (6+) Tg Kwikstaart

When the world around you has changed a lot, it is safe to hide and think about the past. But doesn't the past also teach you to enjoy the beautiful world around you? When is it time to let go?

In a world where the water has risen, everyone has built huts on the roofs of their houses. On one of these roofs lives Grandpa. He sits there and fishes with a fishing rod for things from the past, from the 'dry times'. He keeps all the things he has caught in his self-made private museum. He lives in the past, is grumpy and does not participate in the world around him. Then a boat arrives with the young, cheerful eight-year-old Ama on it. She sees Grandpa fishing and wants to dive for him. Grandpa, who is still looking for a special piece for his collection, bites. But he does not trust Ama and goes along in her submarine to keep an eye on everything.

In every room of his drowned house, memories are released. The water drops and we see the rooms, once ruined and full of water plants and fish, now change live on camera to how they were when Grandpa was little. We find out what his life was like, why he can't let go and which piece for his collection he is so desperately looking for.
