A Night by Inês Certo

Inês Certo transforms BAR OMI into the main stage for an interactive performance in which alienation, discomfort and absurdity are given free rein.

Inês Certo transforms BAR OMI into the main stage for an interactive performance exploring alienation, discomfort, and absurdity. Along with Sarah Blake, as part of Collective Disgust, she invites you to explore diverse forms of discomfort, from the mundane to the peculiar. Expect music by Douro's Dad—known for his Time is the New Space—and a personal selection of Certo's photography and video art.

Bartenders

Inês Certo is a Portuguese artist and dentist based in Rotterdam. Her practice encompasses photography, video, and performance art. Certo's interest in creating art begins with creating her own scenes. Her recent project, "Oral," for example, is an ongoing investigation stemming from a fascination with the mouth, both its repulsive and seductive aspects. Together with Sarah Blake, she forms the performance duo Collective Disgust.
