100 Years of Mikis Theodorakis

In 2025, legendary Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis would have turned 100. In honor of this milestone, Greenhouse Talent and Karozas Entertainment present a special tribute to the man whose music became a global symbol of freedom, resistance and human dignity.

During this unique concert evening, two greats of Greek music, Maria Farantouri and Alkinoos Ioannidis, together with their band, will take you on a musical journey through the impressive oeuvre of Theodorakis. His work - from the Mauthausen Cycle to iconic songs from Greek folk music and film music - sounds more relevant than ever.

Maria Farantouri, internationally renowned for her deep, expressive voice, worked closely with Theodorakis for many years. Her interpretations, especially of the Mauthausen Cycle, are considered highlights of modern Greek music history.

Alkinoos Ioannidis, a versatile singer, composer and poet from Cyprus, is known for his intense, poetic approach to music. His unique style - a mix of folk, classical and rock - brings a fresh, contemporary dimension to Theodorakis' repertoire.
